Payment Security.

Head to the Hills website uses RBS WorldPay for card payments and Paypal.

Both Paypal and Worldpay are 'secure payment gateways' which means all card and bank details are securely handled by them. The Head to the Hills staff and website do not handle any of your payment information. The secure 'padlock' icon is visible on the payment gateway page after your order placement, but before you submit payment to be taken.

The RBS WorldPay payment system, certified by Thawte, ensures the security and integrity of all sensitive data. Thawte, a public Certificate Authority, ensures that both the shopper and retailer can have complete confidence.

Transaction Encryption via SSL:Purchase details are encapsulated using WorldPay encrypted and digitally-signed protocol. This ensures that the information passed is secure and tamper-proof via SSL.

Guaranteed Satisfied Customer Returns Policy.

As an independent retailer, at Head to the Hills we pride ourselves on customer service and want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If you are not satisfied we guarantee to resolve your issues to the best of our capabilities. You can contact us direct and speak to a real (well almost) person.

When contacting us by phone or email please have your order number handy or surname and address, so we can help you more efficiently

No re-stocking fee: Unlike some mail order and internet sites we do NOT charge a re-stocking fee when customers return goods.

All returned goods must be unused and with original tickets. Any faulty product MUST be clean.

Post, Packing and Delivery

In most circumstances we use Royal Mail or Parcelforce for all UK deliveries. Most deliveries will require a signature. We can deliver to your work / another address, simply enter a convenient delivery address when placing your order online.

Free Delivery: For orders over £75 UK standard delivery is FREE

Speedy dispatch: Most of our orders are dispatched the same day

When goods are in stock and we receive your order by 1pm, we will aim to dispatch your order that day. In any case and wherever possible we will deliver your order within 2-5 working days. If we cannot ship your order within this time scale we will e-mail you with an expected delivery date.

Christmas Delivery 2009: Don't panic, we can dispatch your orders until and including the 21st Dec as normal. On the 22nd and 23rd please choose 'Next Day Delivery'.

Christmas Returns: If you bought an item as a christmas present but need to return it, you have extra time to return it if it's unsuitable, yippe.. until 15th Jan 2010.

Post and Packing Options:

Standard Delivery (default option) - Parcels are dispatched 1st class or 2nd class depending upon weight. (1-4 days).

Next Day Delivery, before 1pm. - Your order should be placed with us by 1pm to qualify. For orders placed after 1pm we can usually make a Next Day deadline, but we can not promise this.
Next day delivery orders for Monday need to be placed by 1pm the previous Friday.

Please note: 'Next Day Delivery' ensures the USE of a Next Day Service.

P&P Charges:

Standard Delivery: For orders over £75 UK standard delivery is FREE. £1.99 for most other items and £3.99 for heavier parcels.
Guaranteed Next Day – Usually £5.50. Price is quoted at checkout before your payment is taken.

International Delivery:

International and European orders are dispatched via ' Royal Mail International Signed For'.

Within Europe we deliver to: Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland (Eire), Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain. The delivery charge to europe is £13.99.
For USA and Canada the delivery charge is £22.00.

Please select your country from drop down box in the delivery address section, when completeing your order, and the delivery charge will be displayed. (If the charge is not displayed please 'contact us' so we may arrange payment via a separate link).
